Collaborating Women - Poetry Prompt

As some of you may know Tui Snider and I launched our creative collaboration, Wild Woman Waking, this week and the Book Tour Blog Hop is going on now until March 22. Doing a collaborative work can create something more powerful than created alone. I feel that way about this book. I hope you decide to check it out.

This being Women's History Month, women are on my mind all the time, especially of course the women of the past that stood their ground when it wasn't an easy thing to do so.

“A succulent wild woman is one of any age who feels free to fully express herself in every dimension of her life.”
― S.A.R.K.Succulent Wild Woman

Poetry Prompt:

What women do you know that stood up and said, "Enough is Enough!" What women do you know that worked together to create something beautiful for their children and their children's children? Write for ten minutes about women working together. It can be about anything that they came together for whether it was creative, coming to someone's rescue, raising money for a cause, or doing whatever it took to get a law passed. Show me through your poetry about these women.

Word Prompt: Creative Collaboration

Shadow Poetry Type: Line Messaging, an interesting and creative invented poetry form. Hope you try this one, I would certainly like to see what you come up with.

This is a blog hop! I am doing something different with this month's mini poetry challenge, I am sharing the same linky every day and you can link up every day that you have a poem. Share your poetry by coming back and linking up and then grab the link code and put it on your page. Visit your neighbors and share word love in the comments!
